Herodotus, The Histories 1:160

I found this post on Herodotus in my general browsings and, since it’s so topical I felt I should share it by reblogging.

It’s not often we find the great historian referred to, but like Cicero who I’ve posted about in the past, a lot of what he says is still relevant to today.
