Another haiku challenge from Carpe Diem
This time the challenge is to write a haiku about kites. Apparently kiting is a worldwide phenomenon and popular with all kinds of people of all ages.
But not all kites are man made.
As usual the Carpe Diem site has links to a number of superb haiku. Mine needs illustrating.
Kite meets kite; ignore
each other. Bird and box have
their own agendas.

Good to read a wonderful haiku here again … thank you for sharing.

I’ve never done any kiting, but I love watching them. They seem so free and happy.

I loved them when I was a kid. Then enjoyed them with my kids on the beach. I hope to fly some with the grand kids one day.

It’s wonderful how simple things like flying a kite can bind the generations together.
